English Translation:
With the light of the eyes, I saw outside.
I shall see within, in the absence of the light.
When you are not seen, You preside in my heart.
I wish to see you in your own light.
With you, I played in the play-house.
Thrashed by the storm, the doll was broken.
That was indeed a mere play.
Now let there be a festival of life –
With the strings of the veena snapped, my heart will sing.
